as the title say's will there be a farcry 2 demo?Farcry 2 demo.. ever?
There will be no demo, they said it right from the start, sorry.Farcry 2 demo.. ever?
Announced from the start that they would not have one cause according to them one square km had over 8 hours of gameplay in it They lied.
You can demo nearly any game. All you have to is...*gets tackled my the mods*But yeah, no demo. IMO, you're not missing much.
IMO, you're not missing much.
It's a good game but it's gonna wow some and put others off
It's not as open ended as they said, you either stealth or go all out but both mean the exact same thing. You either ride in on a machine gun, burn everything down, or snipe and knife...no variety.
Ah, it's repetitive, but you can make it different by yourself, always trying different weapons, etc.
alright thans guy's, i have it for my 360 i was just wondering to see how it would have ran on my pc and if it looks better.
Game is great, and it's a lot more fun once you get the automatic snipers from the shop. Mortars are fun too.
Its a nice game, i just completed itThough, its very repetitive (go kill this guy, go kill that guy, go kill that other guy)...
map is extremely huge, 50kilometres square... and annoying to travel long distance just to repeat the same process (killing a guy or destroying a property)
alot of guard posts too, going a short while, u'll meet up with a bunch of enemies u have to fight off, fun at the start but annoying laterBut its quite nice though, actions are more realistic, such as picking a gun needs your hand to really drop it before u pick, and stuff... weapons break down, etc...But if you're on a tight budget to buy games, better off with Call of duty series, Crysis and such...(oooh left 4 dead is nice)
Not sure if there will ever be a demo if there hasnt already man. Just go to gametrailers watch there video review and same with gamespot and ign, might give you an idea of the game with the video footage there. IMO its good but not great, id rate it a 8/10.
People often say that Sandbox games cannot have demos because they are too large. Of course, they are mistaken and just don't know any better. Far Cry 1 was very large, and it had 3 different demos I believe. Far Cry 2, like Far Cry 1 is not technically a seamless open world environement. Different locations load as you exit another. Far Cry 2 does a good job making this unnoticeable. The Far Cry 2 map is divided into several sections. A demo could have easily been limited to just one section. They could have prevented you from leaving that section, and put some demo missions in that section.Frankly, I'm sick of the excuses for not getting a demo. There is no excuse. Less and less games are giving us demos, and yet want us to spend $50 or more to buy the game? I don't think so. Perhaps lack of demos is another reason for the rampant popularity of piracy. Although console games are just as guilty of lacking demos.
