What the hell is with thsi f****** memory leak in GTA IV?

I am frankly p***** off witht his crappy port. I can only play for about half an hour maybe less before it lags my computer so badly that i cant even open task manager anymore.= and have to reset it. I've tried fixes recommended by other people and nothing works. How dod Rockstar expect us to put up with this. How can i fix it? its driving me insane. Apart from this the game runs farely well its just not worth playing knowing it could crash and die at any moment.

Dont automatically put it down to my specs because the game runs well.amd athlon 64 dual core 2.2 ghz3gb ddr2 667 mhz ramnvidia geforce 9400gt 1gb

Yep i want to send an envelope full of dog **** to them. Seriously though did they not bother testing this game?
just try some tweaks online theirs really nothing u can do unless u know how to program the game code
They can't of tested it... it's unplayable for alot of people.
This just gives the industry more pull to make crazy comments like ''well we cant port it to the PC becuase the PC cant handle it''
