RTS games?

So I have a Dell Studio 15(37) with a sh**ty video card and I'm looking for an RTS game that my laptop may handle. I've posted my specs before and other's responses to my specs were that I can play, Company of Heroes, Medieval, Command and Conquer: Generals, and Warcraft: Frozen Throne. I was wondering which Company of heroes I can play, and if Anyone recommends Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth 2, and If I can Play Supreme Commander. If I CAN play Supreme Commander on ANY level of settings and what-not, I will get that game because Total Annihilation is the first RTS game I've played. Here are my laptops specs.Studio 1537, Intel Pentium Dual Core T3200, 2.0GHz 667 Mhz, 1M L2 Cache3GB of RAm320 GB of Hard Drive spaceand an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHDAnd if anyone has any recommendations for RTS games feel free to let me know, and all the help is appreciated. Thank you.RTS games?
If you can play it I would definately get the first CoH and if you like it get the second. I DO recommend BFME 2 and 1 for that matter. Also get the DOW games.as for supcom, it is hard on PCs and mine even slows down a bit at times, its not the #1 RTS anyway (but good)RTS games?
sadly, I'm not so sure that you can play either coh or supcom with that videocard. I would suggest that you try some older games instead. Warcraft and C%26C generals should definately work, maybe battle for middle-earth 2 as well(don't know how demanding it is)
On top of my above post, what would I need to do to my laptop to play Supreme Commander and even Halo Wars?...
On top of my above post, what would I need to do to my laptop to play Supreme Commander and even Halo Wars?...
I think you can do nothing - it now depends on your graphics card. Try older games, SupCom isn磘 that good :) And Halo Wars is not coming to PC...
Age of Empires 2.. I still play that game, great game... And Halo wars I don't think is coming to PC but who cares.. Halo is highly overrated they just need to let the franchise die already..
Halo is highly overrated they just need to let the franchise die already..
Halo is a good game saga - but the footage seen from Halo Wars looks like crap... 9 units for each race and the campaign is not even playable with the bad guys? WTF. The game is made for console, console players and with the terms of console - it won磘 be a good RTS game if you磖e comparing it to some PC exclusives. :DHere you can check what your pc is up to run:http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest Try at least these:Age of Empires 1 %26 2 (the second one is better, but the first is not bat either)LOTR: Battle for Middle-EarthDawn of WarEmpire EarthAge of MythologyMedieval - the holy saga
Command and Conquer:Red Alert 2
Star Craft
Okay, sounds good. I found all of your opinions and facts to be very helpfull. Thank you all. If you have more recommendations the better. Thanks again.

In your opinions, which Starcraft is the best? And why.
In your opinions, which Starcraft is the best? And why.
The first.

Since it's the only one out :P
I liked the original. Having 3 different factions that play compeltely differently was what did it for me.I guess, the competitive multiplayer was also a big plus.
starcraft brood war is greatest game ever made.
StarCraft and WarCraft 3.
Rise of Nations/Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots
Another ''vote'' for Rise of Nations, I found it to be very addictive after I got bored with Age of Empires II and Age of Mythology.Starcraft was great as well and very easy to create your own maps, scenarios and scripts.
Honestly, unless you buy a laptop specifically designed for gaming, it's really hard to play the newer games. Intel Media Graphic Accelerators are all crap. You'll generall have to go back a ways for recommendation. The video card is so important and I believe most laptops have integrated cards that you can't change. Basically, your stuck in a time capsule. You may be able to play BFME 1 and 2 - at least the first one. It's a really well-done RTS. Also, Warcraft III may be old enough. I would be very surprised if you could play COH at all or at least optimally. Definitely check the specs on more recent games like COH. The usually list the video cards the game supports and usuall you won't find the Intel MGAs on these list at all.By the way, COH is fantastic and you should find a way to play it.
There is no videocard, so I would have to say Starcraft.
