Can someone tell me how to custom tweak crysis with the console?

I'm trying to stop these stupid twigs from just popping onto the beach when I'm only five feet away from them, so i tried to increase the distance that detail objects appear. i looked online and the line is e_view_dist_ratio_detail [value]but no matter how high i set the value variable, the twig popping never changed. also, when i actually typed in the bracket and put the value in it, it auto set to 0when i just type a number with no bracket, nothing changes eitherwhat am i doing wrong? Can someone tell me how to custom tweak crysis with the console?

''con_restricted=0'' before you tried? According to the tweakguides site only a handful of commands work if thats not used to turn off a restriction thing.

I'm not sure if you'd just get an error message if your code didn't want to work with the restriction on. If it did, turning off the restriction might work.

edit: After to try that, make sure you wrote it in the proper way (''r_MotionBlur = 5'' for example, with the '=' and '5' spaced apart.) Not sure if it matters.

Maybe paste the exact code from the site you saw it on by pasting it into the console with CTRL + V then adding your own variable?Can someone tell me how to custom tweak crysis with the console?

What do these twigs look like? Like tree branches trying to consume your face, or texture pop-in type stuff?

Update your drivers and patch the game? :P I'm not really sure..

Update your drivers and patch the game? :P I'm not really sure..[/QUOTE] they look like they're just there to add to texture. they aren't the big branches you can pick up oh, and my drivers and game are up to date
