company of heroes, problem.

every time i start to install the big, 1.74gb patch, it works for the first 2-5 mins and then i get an error, saying the ''internal check failed, please contact relic/THQ support for mor info. ( error code: 10148 ) now on there website it say's to type msconfig and change a few settings there and restart the computer, i did that, and it still did not work. dose any one know what to do?company of heroes, problem.

yes, thats one of the things the big patch dose is uninstalls my game then i get the error.
A lot of people are saying the auto downloader is a miserable failure. Try getting the patch from another site. That has seemed to work for many I've seen so far.
sounds like you downloaded a dud patch, try gamershell.com
i've tryed there download stie and i've tryed gamespots (which takes forever). i'll try it later since installing and then getting the game uninstalled has pissed me off a lot. but thanks.
