Hm... Not only are there not many good free MMORPGs to begin with, but browser based ones are even harder.. They should put Graal in the browser... I found one a while back, but it was pretty stupid. Kingdom of Loathing is pretty good, though.
http://www.eternumonline.com is very good and definitely worth a look if you're into browser-based MMOs
i played only two adventure quest and RS, didn't like both
