if you dont uninstall pc games when your done with them...

i have 5 pc games on my computer and right now im only playing 1 (bored from the rest) should i uninstall them from my computer or should i leave it there? what does it do to my computer if i leave the games there?if you dont uninstall pc games when your done with them...
Depends on your HD space. I have more than 2 dozen games on my system right now and I just leave them there. Of course I have over a TB in total hard drive space so it isn't making much of a difference.if you dont uninstall pc games when your done with them...
I just leave them on, have close to 2TB of HDD space though.
so the only downside is that it will take up space? because if thats the only problem then im not to worried since i have alot of space. but does it take up ram memory or anything else?
Heh, I currently have a good 20 or so games installed on my steam account(s) right now, and then there is my box collection which is almost all installed for another 10-15 games.. Then you add in all the little backup's of old games and such.. Hard drive space is cheap now-adays. Put some money into it, its a wortwhile investment.

Such app's include Steam, EA Download Manager (EADM), Rockstar Social Club, Punkbuster, and I'm sure there are many more that I'm missing. [ Start - > Run - > msconfig - > Startup ] to disable these programs from executing on start-up forcefully through windows to save RAM or CPU power. However, check the application itself when applicable to see if they can be disabled from turning on automatically at start-up yourself. Personally, I've ALWAYS kept Steam running in the background 90% of the time, and currently have Rockstar Social Club self-booting because I'm working on GTA IV right now.
Just uninstall it if your not using it, most new games I find will ask you if you want to keep your saves, so you can uninstall the whole game, but always have your

progress saved if you decide to go back.
The only downside is taking up space. Ive kept every game i have on their(30-40) and they dont slow down my PC.

You have been warned.
