I have a question regarding the trial accounts, with the upgrading of your account in the screen after you click the upgrade account button, it says there will be a $19.99 USD activation fee and that my account will be charged a recurring subscription fee after 30 days, does this mean I don't have to buy the 30 day game cards to play on retail wow?need wow help
Never had the trial version personally, or used game cards, but I'm pretty sure this means you'll get charged $20 to activate the account as a normal one (think of it as buying the normal game), then after 30 days you'll get your choice to pay by credit card or game cards to keep your account as active.need wow help
I'm assuming the $19.99 is for actually purchasing the game through their website. Since you're using a credit card, your account will automatically be charged for a new month's subscription every 30 days. So, no you don't need to buy time cards to play. Just go to WoW's main website and go to the account management page. There you can view your subscription method and what you've already paid for (and when), and when your subscription will be renewed. If you ever want to switch to game cards, just cancel your subscription with the credit card and add the time card. Enjoy the game man, it's pretty fun.
Yes, that charge is the digital equivalent of you going and buying a physical copy of the game.
thanks all of you but i remembered that i had an old account...but i will keep your answers as a future referance if needed
