What happens when you die in LOTRO? I'm thinking of buying the game and was wondering because death in MMOGs can be varied largely. What happens when you die in LOTRO?
When you die you can get revived by another player who is playing the correct class and has the skill or you can return to a rallying point. If you return to the rallying point you have a penalty to your moral (health) for 10 minutes. Your armor and weapons also take damage and if not repaired will break and be unusable until you have them repaired. For the most part the death penalty only hinders your ability to do combat a little bit. What happens when you die in LOTRO?

''Wow'' thats original...
You don't actually die in LOTRO. Heck, you don't have even health points, but rather morale. When your character runs out of morale, you have to escape to the nearest outpost or wait for a bard to give you a morale boost. So it's basically the same thing as in WoW but with lore-friendly terms.

Take something that absolutely every other game does and change the names and BAM it is original.... Anyway time for me to go into Rodrom with Odorf to cast a volcano into a ring.
