That's weird I was just thinking about V today. I heard a vicious rumour that it was going to be an MMO. That would be horrible. Anyway my oblivion vids in my sig should keep you entertained. There are still heaps of new mods coming out.
Bethseda had talked about having a new Eldar Scrolls title in 2010 as one of their future goals.
New Eldar Scrolls in 2010
World sizes from that developer work like this (from largest to smallest)

Morrowind

Oblivion

Fallout 3

This is also in sync with the timeline.

I predict by Edlers Scroll VI the world size will be about as big as a multiplayer shooter map
Sorry, screwed up the link and can't fix it :( Anyway, just use google :P
Elder Scrolls Online? Haven't heard anything in a while.

Uhhh. This is just not true. Oblivion was quite a bit larger than morrowind. Also fallout 3 is not an elder scrolls game. I am sure Bethesda will make another huge Elder Scrolls game.
We know it is going to look like arse, since they are aiming for 2010 it is still being built around the exact same console hardware Oblivion and Fallout 3 was.So much for a hardware leap each TES game.
Sorry Annoyed, as much as I agree with 99% of the things you say I'd have to disagree with that one. Bethesda knows that graphics are the main selling point of their games these days so that's gonna be their #1 priority.

But as for an Elder Scrolls V releasing.....god I hope not. I'm still having nightmares about the last one.

If they build the game around 2010 technology, even prevent day technology in fact, you will have something that won't run on consoles. For a cross platform game that is unacceptable, everything from level design to poly count has to work across all three platforms. In 2010 a console orientated game on PC will feel like they ported over a PS2 game, it would be like if Oblivion was designed around the same hardware performance Morrowind was; which is essentially what will happen with TES V. Hope they really don't intend to release within this console generation :( if they continue down Oblivion's rout; graphics will be all it has going for it.

did'nt it take 4 years for them to develop oblivion I don't expect one annoced till 2010 at least plus their fallout 3 just made
I just hope they don't go MMO. After TOR's announcement I don't think I can take another kick to my nether regions.:
|Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Bethesda already bought the copyright for the name and plans to start production after the fallout 3 DLC.
