My Oblivion doesn't work!

Whenever I start up Oblivion, the game just crashes and asks if I want to send an error report. I sent one, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, blew the dust off my disk, patched the game, made sure my drivers were up to date, and it still doesn%26#39;t work. I%26#39;m gonna restart my comp and see if that works. The weird thing is the game worked a week ago and I haven%26#39;t done anyhing since.  Same thing happened with UT 2004 on my old comp, but it works on my new one.My Oblivion doesn't work!
Send us your specs, it seems to be a config problem. My Oblivion doesn't work!
E6600, 2 gigs corsair ram, 8800GTX. It may be fixed with the restart although it crashed when I was changing video options, so I%26#39;m restarting the game for them to take effect and stuff.
You should do a few things: Run memtest86 search on (www.downloads.com), and download all the latest motherboard, videocard, processor, and pci drivers. Let memtest run for a long time. If there are errors on memtest, then it's a problem with your memory. If you get errors make sure you have to proper settings in your bios. If you're still having problems try taking one stick out.

Need more details to help you anymore: motherboard, RAM model no., psu, bios revision, etc...
well if it crashed when you changed video settings try to find the config.ini or somthing like that and change them back don%26#39;t blame me if there isn%26#39;t a config thing i haven%26#39;t played oblivion for a long time now
this happend to me so i just got rid of the game then i got a new vido card and it works great now!
