i bought audiosurf, bioshock , portal for less than $15..
I hear Beyond Good And Evil is good.
The under $7 in the title limits discussion to the $4.99 and $0.99 games. I'm going to include $7.49 1s too. ;)



FarCry - $7.49 - I'd never played the original, and had to pick it up at this price. It's great.



Trials 2: Second Edition - $2.49 - I'd never heard of this before, but at the price and review scores I had to give it a try. Well worth it. It's a great pysics based puzzle game.



I-Fluid - $4.99 - Just like Trials 2 I'd never heard of this before. Great price, and another great physics based puzzle game.



Beyond Good and Evil - $7.49 - Once you get over the weird letter box format of the game you've got 1 hell of an action adventure game. Definitely worth buying.



That's all I picked up during the sale that fit in to your price range. I'm happy with every single 1 of these purchases, and they all work perfectly with Vista.



For me though the obvious steal of the sale is BioShock at $4.99. I already own this game, but for anyone who doesn't make sure you pick up a copy.
I am not sure if the PoP games are good on PC (don't know why they wouldn't), but you can the 3 last gen ones for 7.49 each.
I just picked up Flatout 1 and 2 for $7.49. I really have to turn the computer off until the 3rd, this Steam sale is driving me insane. :)
Beyond Good And Evil and Arx Fatalis are STEALS man, i highly reccomend those two.Also Bioshock is very cheap, as is the first Band Of Brothers game. Counterstrike Source is also 9$ i think, if you willing to spend 2$ more.

Bioshock, for $5 (US).
